I was a very scared 20 year old medical student who was admitted to LGI under cardiology when I first met Rob. He was warm, compassionate, caring and a breath of fresh air. Luckily he sorted me out and off I went. A few years later I worked with him as one of his junior doctors, and he was warm, welcoming & made ward rounds fun and always a learning opportunity. Now as a qualified GP he was my go-to cardiologist for any advice and guidance. I will miss his wisdom and kindness. What a loss.
