Dr Sapsford

I worked with Dr Sapsford as a trainee. He was the ultimate example of what a doctor should be; he was personable, empathetic and compassionate with all his patients, keen to teach and so encouraging to the trainees working with him. He would often appear looking for biscuits, and would happily take the time to chat and answer queries, even when he was obviously busy. He was someone to look up to, and his memory will continue to encourage me to be a better doctor.
