I first met Rob when I was a new registrar to Leeds, trying to find my feet – he welcomed me to the Coronary Care Unit and offered me some of his pizza! I then regularly shared patients with him, all of whom were incredibly positive not only about his knowledge but also his compassionate manner, particularly for those with challenging symptoms.
