Dr Sapsford was my consultant for over 15 years, he was a very calm, kind doctor who took the time to explain things and made you feel at ease. I once visited him feeling under the weather and he told my doctors to test my blood as he thought i had thyroid trouble, something no one else had picked up on and on doing the tests he was found to be correct. He also arranged genetic testing for my daughter's for the condition i have. He will be sorely missed by everyone. Thoughts are with his family.
