I met Dr Sapsford as a new student nurse 20 years ago. I did so many placements in cardiology at Lgi and Jimmy's. I always remember him taking time to talk, explain and teach. He was approachable and showed a kindness to everyone that was genuine. He was one of the people who influenced me and showed me it was OK to be yourself. Cardiology in Leeds at the time was superb. Thank you Rip and sending love n strength to your family xx
