I was heartbroken to learn of Dr Sapsfords passing. He had unrivalled clinical knowledge and was truly a world class doctor. I will always remember Dr Sapsford for being a very kind, generous and warm hearted man who had so much time for patients and colleagues. He had a fantastic sense of humour that lit up the room, making everyone feel at ease when facing even the most difficult challenges. Thank you for everything you have given to the NHS. We will all miss you Dr Sapsford. Rest in peace.
